Surface Bolts

Surface bolts are typically used on the passive leaf of a double set of doors at top and bottom. Usually surface bolt on top is larger than the one on the bottom.

Surface bolts can be used in conjunction with matching cremone bolt, a mortise lock or a rim lock on the active door leaf. Fersa offers surface bolts for every architectural style and period as well as designs that combine with our cremone collection, our espagnolette collection and our rim lock collection.

Surface bolt

Surface bolts are available in 8", 12", 18", and 24" lengths. Available types of strikes are: Universal, Mortise, Angle, Lip or Box strike.

Each Surface Bolt will include 1 Mortise strike, 1 lip strike and 1 angle strike. 18" and 24" surface bolts will also include 1 middle guide.
